Not sure which fits? or talk to a human.

Our Process

Five steps, roughly two weeks, no mystery.

You always know what happens next and what it costs. Most builds go live in 7 to 14 business days — open any step to read exactly what it involves.

  1. 01 Day 1 · 20 minutes Discovery Call A short, plain-English conversation about what your business does, who calls you, and what a good lead actually looks like. No jargon, no pressure. Expand Discovery Call

Twenty minutes on the phone, or coffee somewhere in Plano if you would rather do it in person. We are not running a sales script — the call exists so we can tell you which package actually fits, which is often a smaller one than you came in expecting.

The questions are all about your business rather than your website: what you do, who calls you, what those callers usually ask first, and what separates an inquiry worth your time from one that wastes it. If you already have a site, we pull it up together and look at what is and is not working. If you have never had one, that is completely normal and changes nothing about how this goes.

You leave the call knowing the tier, the price and the rough dates. We follow up in writing the same day so nothing depends on either of us remembering the conversation correctly.

Watch out: People often arrive convinced they need the biggest package. If your customers are not messaging you after hours, you probably do not need the AI concierge yet — and we will say so.

    You provide

    • A rough sense of what you want the site to do
    • Your current website address, if you have one
    • Any hard deadline you are working toward

    We deliver

    • A tier recommendation with the reasoning behind it
    • A fixed build price in writing, same day
    • A one-page content checklist so you can start gathering
  2. 02 Days 1–3 Content & Assets We send a one-page checklist: logo, photos, services, hours, service area. If you do not have polished copy, we write the first draft for you. Expand Content & Assets

This is the step that decides whether you launch in seven days or fourteen. Not because it is hard, but because it is the only part that depends on you. The checklist is one page and you can send everything back by email — there is no portal to log into and no software to learn.

What we need is unglamorous: your logo in whatever file you have, photos of real work or your real premises, a list of services, your hours, and the cities you cover. Phone photos are fine and usually better than stock. If your logo only exists as a low-resolution image on an old business card, tell us and we will clean it up.

Writing is the part people stall on. If you send us bullet points, we turn them into the first draft and you edit from there — most owners find reacting to a draft far easier than facing a blank page.

While you gather, we handle the domain and DNS. If you already own a domain we point it; if you do not, we register one in your name, in your account.

Watch out: Waiting until you have "perfect" photos is the single most common cause of a slow launch. Send what you have; we can always swap images later.

    You provide

    • Logo files, in any format you have
    • Photos of your work, team or premises
    • Services, hours and the cities you serve
    • Bullet points for copy — polished prose optional

    We deliver

    • A first draft of every page of copy
    • Domain registration or DNS pointing, in your account
    • Image cleanup and resizing at no extra cost
  3. 03 Days 3–10 Design & Build We build the real site — not a mockup — on a private preview link you can open on your phone and share with anyone whose opinion you trust. Expand Design & Build

We do not send flat mockups. You get a private link to the actual working site, which you can open on your phone, forward to your spouse, and show to the customer whose opinion you actually trust. What you are looking at is what will go live.

It is built mobile-first because that is where your customers are — most local-business traffic is someone standing in a parking lot with one thumb. Once the phone layout is right, we widen it for desktop, not the other way around.

The architecture is static: pre-built HTML with no database and no plugins. That is what produces the sub-second load times and the small attack surface, and it is why your hosting bill later is measured in single-digit dollars rather than tens.

On Smart and Summit, this is also where the AI concierge gets trained. We feed it your services, hours, service area and the questions you actually field, then we sit and try to break it — asking things it should refuse to answer — before you ever see it.

Watch out: The preview link is private but not secret — treat it like an unlisted page rather than a locked one, and do not post it publicly before launch.

    You provide

    • Answers to a handful of questions as they come up
    • For AI tiers: the questions customers ask you most

    We deliver

    • A private preview link to the real, working site
    • Mobile and desktop layouts, both finished
    • A trained and adversarially tested AI concierge (Smart & Summit)
  4. 04 Days 10–12 Review & Revisions You walk the preview and send notes however you like — email, text, a phone call. We work through them together in one focused round. Expand Review & Revisions

Send notes in whatever form suits you. A numbered email is easiest for us, but a voice memo or a phone call works fine — we would rather have your real reaction than a tidily formatted one.

We ask you to collect notes into one pass rather than sending them as they occur to you. It is not a rule to make life difficult: batched changes get made faster and with fewer mistakes than the same changes trickling in over three days. Scenic includes one round, Smart two and Summit three.

Everything is still movable at this stage — wording, photos, section order, colours. What tends to change most is copy, once you see your own words on a real page.

Before sign-off we run the checks you should not have to ask for: keyboard navigation, colour contrast, screen-reader labels, and a Google PageSpeed pass on both mobile and desktop. If something fails, we fix it before we hand the site to you rather than after.

Watch out: Show the preview to someone who is not you. Owners know their own business too well to notice the thing a stranger finds confusing in five seconds.

    You provide

    • Your notes, collected into one pass
    • Any replacement photos or corrected details
    • A go-ahead when you are happy

    We deliver

    • Every note worked through and confirmed back to you
    • Accessibility pass — contrast, keyboard, labels
    • PageSpeed results on mobile and desktop
  5. 05 Days 12–14 Launch & Handover We point your domain, submit to Google, and hand you the finished site and its source files. On Summit, this is where the managed plan picks up instead — we keep running it for you. Expand Launch & Handover

Launch day is deliberately boring. We point the domain, confirm the SSL certificate, submit the site to Google and tune your Google Business Profile so the map listing and the website agree with each other — mismatched hours between the two is one of the most common and most invisible reasons a local business loses calls.

Then the paths separate. On Scenic and Smart, the site is yours: we hand over the source files and you own it outright. Because we do not host those tiers, Smart includes the Hosting Launch Class — a guided session walking you through putting the site live, connecting the domain, and what to do if something looks wrong six months from now. Scenic clients can add the same class for $29.

The class exists for an honest reason. Handing someone a finished site and a folder of files, then leaving them to work out hosting alone, is not a handover — it is an abandonment with extra steps. We would rather spend an hour making sure you can actually run the thing you paid for.

On Summit nothing is handed over at all, because we keep running it: hosting, SSL renewals, uptime monitoring, backups, priority updates and continuous AI upkeep are all part of the monthly plan.

Watch out: If you are on Scenic or Smart, decide where the site will be hosted before launch day rather than after. The class covers this, and it is the one decision that is annoying to change later.

    You provide

    • Access to your Google Business Profile, if it exists
    • An hour for the Hosting Launch Class (Smart, or Scenic as an add-on)

    We deliver

    • Domain pointed, SSL confirmed, site submitted to Google
    • Google Business Profile aligned with the site
    • Source files and full ownership (Scenic & Smart)
    • Ongoing hosting, monitoring and backups (Summit)
Process Assistant

Still have questions about how it runs?

This assistant only knows the build process — the five steps above, what each involves and where projects usually slow down. For pricing, the concierge in the corner is the one to ask.

Automated assistant, scoped to how a CCSS build runs. It does not quote prices or agree terms.

Ask me anything about how a build actually runs — what happens in a given step, what we need from you, or where projects usually slow down.

The CCSS Advantage

Why local businesses leave their old site behind.

Most small-business sites are slow, fragile and quietly expensive. We build the opposite of that, and then we maintain it so you never have to think about it again.

Speed & Security

Static site architecture means zero databases to hack, no clunky WordPress plugins, and top-tier Google PageSpeed scores.

  • No database and no plugin ecosystem — almost nothing to exploit
  • Pages served pre-built from a global CDN, close to your customer
  • Consistently high Core Web Vitals, which Google ranks on

Local Ownership

We are based directly in Collin County, Texas — not an offshore call center working nine time zones away.

  • Meet in person in Plano, Frisco, McKinney or Allen
  • Central-time support hours that match your business day
  • We know the market you are advertising into

Managed Only If You Want It

You pay monthly only where something is genuinely running for you. Scenic is a one-time build you own outright; Smart adds the AI concierge we operate; Summit adds fully managed hosting on top.

  • Scenic Site: one-time build, nothing recurring
  • Smart Site: $79/mo runs the AI concierge and its API usage
  • Summit Site: $149/mo adds managed hosting, SSL, monitoring and backups

FAQ

The questions we get asked every week.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, the AI concierge can usually handle it — and a human definitely can.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. You own your domain and every brand asset we produce for you — logo files, copy, images and the site itself. We register or connect the domain inside your own account wherever possible, and if we hold it during the build we transfer it to you on request, no exit fee and no hostage situation. If you ever leave CCSS, you leave with your property.

Who hosts my site?

Only Summit Site includes hosting. Scenic Site and Smart Site are build-and-deliver: we design and build the site, hand you the finished files, and help you point your domain at whatever host you choose — and Smart Site includes the Hosting Launch Class so that handover is guided rather than a folder of files and good luck. Smart Site does carry a $79/mo AI Service & API plan, but that is not a hosting fee — it runs the concierge and covers its model usage, while the site itself lives on your hosting. Summit Site is the fully managed option: high-speed global hosting with SSL, infrastructure maintenance, priority same-day updates and continuous AI upkeep are all bundled into the $149/mo plan.

What is the $79/mo on Smart Site for?

It runs your AI concierge. The assistant is not a static widget — it needs a live endpoint to answer from, and every conversation it has costs real money in model usage. The $79/mo covers that API usage, the endpoint we operate on your behalf, and keeping the assistant working as models change. It is not hosting: your Smart Site itself sits on hosting you control. If you ever cancel the plan, the site keeps working exactly as it is — the chat widget simply stops answering.

What is the Hosting Launch Class?

A guided session that teaches you to put your finished site live and keep it there — connecting the domain, confirming the SSL certificate, and knowing what to look at if something seems wrong months later. It is included with Smart Site: if we are already running your AI concierge, leaving you stuck on the hosting step would be strange. Scenic Site clients can add the same class for a one-time $29. Summit Site clients do not need it, because hosting is ours to run. To be clear about what it is: it is training, not a hosting service. We are teaching you to do it, not doing it for you.

How long does a build take?

Typically 7 to 14 business days from the moment we have your content — logo, photos, services and hours. Scenic Sites usually land near the front of that window and Summit Sites near the back, since booking flows and CRM integrations add time. The single biggest factor is how quickly you get us your materials, so we send a short checklist on day one.

How does the AI assistant work?

It is custom-trained strictly on your business details — your services, hours, service area, pricing posture and the questions your customers actually ask. It greets visitors, answers those questions in plain language, and qualifies leads by collecting name, contact details and what the person needs, then routes that straight to you. It is scoped deliberately narrowly: it will not invent policies, quote binding prices or speak outside what you have given it. Anything it cannot answer becomes a handoff to a human. The concierge comes with Smart Site on a $79/mo AI Service & API plan, and is included in Summit Site’s $149/mo plan where it is also continuously maintained as your business changes.

What does the Summit monthly fee cover?

Everything that keeps a live site healthy: managed global hosting, SSL, security and dependency patching, uptime monitoring, backups, domain and DNS mechanics, priority same-day content updates, continuous AI knowledge base maintenance and a quarterly conversion review. It is one all-inclusive number — there is no separate hosting invoice and no per-change billing on top of it.

How many revisions do I get?

One round on Scenic Site, two on Smart Site and three on Summit Site, all during the build. You send notes however you like — email, text or a phone call. There is no ticketing system to learn. Summit clients also get priority same-day updates after launch as part of the monthly plan.

Why static instead of WordPress?

A static site is pre-built HTML. There is no database to breach, no plugin ecosystem to keep patched and no PHP process to fall over during a rush. That means dramatically better Google PageSpeed scores and a far smaller attack surface — and because there is nothing to keep running, a Scenic or Smart site can sit happily on inexpensive hosting of your choosing. (On Smart, the one thing we do keep running is the AI concierge itself, which is what the $79/mo covers.) For a local business site, the flexibility WordPress buys you is flexibility you were paying for and not using.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Scenic Site is a one-time build, so there is nothing to cancel — you paid once and the site is yours. Smart Site’s $79/mo AI plan and Summit Site’s $149/mo plan are both month to month with no long-term contract. Cancel the Smart plan and your site carries on unchanged; only the chat assistant switches off. Cancel Summit and we give 30 days to move: we export the site, hand over the source files and help point your domain wherever you want it next.

Still deciding? Ask the concierge anything — it is trained on exactly this page.
